How It Works

Jastip.me connects travelers with spare luggage space to buyers who want to buy products from abroad. Here is the full step by step:

  1. Traveler posts a Travel Plan fill in date, route, available weight, shipment cost and margin.

  2. Buyer clicks “Order”, logs in, fill in the buying request. An email and WhatsApp reminder is sent to the traveler.

  3. Traveler reviews the request, fills in the estimate cost of each requested item, estimate weight and selects Accept or Reject. The buyer is notified by email and WhatsApp.

  4. If accepted, the buyer transfers the required deposit to Jastip.me business account. After verifies the fund, emails is send to the traveler informing that the deposit has been secured.

  5. Traveler starts purchasing the requested products, records each product’s actual cost, upload photo (optional) and actual shipment weight. Invoice are calculated automatically, and buyer can follow the progress in their Profile page.

  6. Traveler arrives at the destination city, pays custom duty (if any), and updates the status to "Package Arrived". Buyer is notified by email and WhatsApp.

  7. Buyer pays Unpaid Balance to Jastip.me business account. After verifies the fund, admin update the status to "Ready for Pickup"

  8. Buyer picks up the package, checks everything is good, and update the status to "Clear". Traveler is paid the full amount, less the 2.5% platform fee.

Product details is visible only to the related parties (traveler and buyer). While name, phone number, and email address is stay private. All correspondences is through email, with WhatsApp reminder.
